Which NCAA Title Game Matchup Do You Want to See?

facebooktwitterreddit

The 2011 Final Four is officially set, as Kentucky, Connecticut, VCU, and Butler have all punched their tickets to Houston for this upcoming weekend in one the most unpredictable Final Four’s in recent memory.

For the first time since seeding began, we don’t have a one or two seed remaining at this point, which means that anything could happen on Saturday.

So with that said, which national championship matchup would intrigue you the most?

Personally, I think that a Kentucky/Butler matchup would be the most exciting. Brad Stevens‘ squad faced off against Duke last year in the final, and it would be intriguing to watch them face off against another college powerhouse in their quest for a national title.

And that’s not to say that UConn isn’t a powerhouse, because they are. It’s just that Butler vs. Kentucky would be a lot more interesting because of the tradition at Kentucky, and Butler’s opportunity at the title for a second year in a row.

A UConn/VCU game would have a nice storyline to it as well since both teams have completely dominated the post-season this year.

Yes, I know you have to dominate the post-season in order to make it to the Final Four, but we’re also talking about UConn’s impressive run in the Big East Tournament. And for VCU to make the kind of run that they’ve made as an 11-seed…..and to win by double-digits in all but one of their games? That would be a nice setup too.

But let’s hear your opinion on this. Which Monday night matchup would be the most interesting to you?
