2011 Jimmy V Week Is Here

Jimmy V week has officially begun on ESPN, and without question, this is one of the best weeks in sports when it comes to supporting such a great cause.
This is the fifth year that the worldwide leader has done this, and it’s undoubtedly one of the most awesome things they’ve ever decided to do.
It’s a chance for the Jimmy V Foundation to raise money for cancer research. It’s a chance for sports fans around the world to reflect on the legacy of Jim Valvano. It’s a chance to remember how hard this man fought right until the very end.
And every year they do this, we get to see the speech.
Everyone has seen the speech and knows of the speech that Valvano gave at the ESPY’s back in 1993, but watching it simply never gets old:
