While there have technically already teams that have advanced in the 2012 NCAA tournament, the traditional first round started today and we’ve got our first team to make it into the round of 32.

Sixth-seeded Murray State knocked off Colorado State by a final of 58-41, and were led by the usual suspects as Isaiah Canaan had 15 points and seven boards, while Donte Poole scored 13 for the Racers.

Murray State now advances to take on the winner of Marquette and BYU which is currently being played. The third round matchup will take place on Saturday.
