The 2012 installment of the NBA draft is now officially in the books. For a complete listing of the picks, click here.

In total, 29 of the 30 first round draft picks played collegiately in the United States. That’s the highest proportion of players with American college basketball experience since 2005, when the NBA instituted the “one and done” rule currently in place. What’s more, 51 out of the 60 total players selected in this year’s draft had at least one year of domestic college experience. That too is the highest mark since the NBA last reformed its eligibility rules.

Notable college players who, although eligible, weren’t drafted, include: Kevin Jones (West Virginia), William Buford (Ohio State), Drew Gordon (New Mexico), Tu Holloway (Xavier), Casper Ware (Long Beach State), J’Covan Brown (Texas), Hollis Thompson (Georgetown), JaMychal Green (Alabama) and Henri Simms (Georgetown). Eight of those nine players were seniors. Only Brown and Thompson, juniors who opted to forgo their senior seasons, had yet to exhaust all of their remaining eligibility.

Overall, 31 different Division-1 NCAA schools were represented in the 2012 NBA Draft. The breakdown is as follows:
