College Basketball Opening Weekend Schedule at a Glance

Oh, by the way, the college basketball season tips off today. Busting Brackets is offering round-the-clock coverage taking you through Sunday night as the college hoops world gets its first peak at more than 300 Division-1 schools. In all, 15 preseason top-25 teams are in action Friday while 23 of 25 will take the floor at some point this weekend. Only No. 4 Ohio State, No. 10 Florida, No. 11 North Carolina and No. 19 Baylor play twice over the three-day tip-off bonanza. No. 17 Memphis and No. 18 UNLV begin their seasons on Monday.

Four games this weekend are set to take place in front of military backdrops, three on Friday and a make-up game originally scheduled for Friday on Sunday. Syracuse and San Diego State, who will square off in the Battle of the Midway on Veteran’s Day, are the only two Top 25 teams pitted against one another this weekend.
