What is red, white, blue and is the number one ranked thing in all the land? If you guessed the Arizona Wildcats you are correct. If you guessed America or ‘Merica, well, we can give you credit for that too. With the newest rankings being released, Sean Miller’s team have found themselves on top of the mountain. Granted, being the “best” team in the nation in December isn’t as swell as it is in March, but they’ll take it, for now.

There is no rest for the wicked, however. Arizona has to get right back to work. Wednesday night is no different as they square-off against the New Mexico State Aggies.

How to Watch

New Mexico St Aggies (7-4, 0-0 WAC) at #1 Arizona Wildcats (9-0, 0-0 Pac-12)

Wednesday, December the 11th

9:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time

At the McKale Center

Picture Box: Pac-12 Network

Should I be Watching?

Definitely. There are only two other ranked teams playing tonight. Neither of whom are playing at 9 (they do intertwine, but eh). The games with unranked teams are not that special either. So, if you are looking for a college basketball hoops fix and don’t like watching mid-majors (which, really, is a shame), this is your best/only bet.
