Florida State got their first commitment for the 2015 class late Wednesday evening when four-star guard Terance Mann announced his intention to join the program.
Terance Mann announced that he’s committed to Florida State.
Mann is the #29 rated shooting guard according to ESPN. At 6’5″ and 175 pounds, the Massachusetts native has the tools physically to be an impact player. Offensively, he’s a well-rounded weapon with a high IQ. Defensively, while not a force, he has the tools to become as dangerous as he is offensively, but will need to further develop those skills.
For Florida State and Leonard Hamilton, this is a good get and could be even better depending on how well Mann develops. On the heels of a 22-14 record and missing out on the Big Dance, Hamilton and company will be looking to rebound.
Mann still plans on taking his official visit in the fall to Florida State.
