VIDEO: Mike Krzyzewski’s 10 Most Dramatic Wins

facebooktwitterreddit

To honor reaching 1000 wins on Sunday, Duke basketball released a video of Mike Krzyzewski’s 10 most dramatic wins in Durham en route to his record.

The list is chock full of both NCAA Tournament games, dramatic comebacks, and some of both! The most recent inclusion is the 2010 NCAA Championship game against Butler, which saw the Blue Devils hang on to win despite a desperation have that nearly fell for Gordon Hayward and the Bulldogs.

Maybe most memorably is Duke’s Miracle Minute, which also is featured on the list. Trailing by 10 points with one minute to go in College Park, Jay Williams and the Blue Devils rallied back to tie the game and send it to overtime before triumphing in the extra frame.

Later that year, the two teams met for a fourth time, this time in the Final Four. Another memorable rally saw the Blue Devils overcome a 22-point first-half deficit to eventually make their way into the title game.

For the rest of the list, take a look at the video and tell us what you think was the most dramatic win for Coach K and Duke.
