Busting Bracketology – 16th seed, West Region

  • Cinderella stories are fun and all, but as it stands, Manhattan will likely be a 16-seed who will be in a play-in game in Dayton on Tuesday. I can try to give you a stat that would lead you to believe this team has a chance if they make it up against a one-seed or two-seed, but who am I fooling. The positive is that they will have a realistic shot at winning a first-round tournament game (and only the NCAA would call it the first-round. It’s the play-in game).

The negatives are the buzzsaw that they’ll run into next. But hey, they’re going dancing for the second straight year, so there’s that at least.
