Georgia Tech will be looking to bounce back from a tough 2014-15 season that saw the Yellow Jackets finish 12-19 on the year.

The Jackets return their leading scorer Marcus Georges-Hunt who averaged 13.6 points per contest, and will have transfer Adam Smith from Virginia Tech playing in the backcourt this season.

Tech head coach Brian Gregory in a lot of people’s eyes is on the hot seat this season with Georgia Tech. But winning this kind of a tournament would enhance his chances of sticking around, coupled with of course having a strong ACC showing.

The winners of both of these games will face off on November 27th for the NIT Tip-Off Championship.

Before the championship rounds are played there will be a dozen games played at designated locations.
