Recruiting: Five-Star Guard Sensation Seventh Woods Narrows List to Four School

facebooktwitterreddit

When Seventh Woods dropped his You Tube Mixtape of dunks on his victims’ heads at 14-years-old, we were in awe of the talent and skill he possessed at such a young age.

More from NCAA Basketball News

We could hardly wait for his arrival on the NCAA Basketball level so he could show off his game on a national level against the best players the country has to offer.

Well hoop junkies, we are getting close to seeing Seventh Woods play on the collegiate level according to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.

The South Carolina five-star recruit from Hammond High School has narrowed his list of potential collegiate suitors down to four schools.

Those four schools are Florida, Georgetown, South Carolina and North Carolina.

Seventh Woods would be a major grab for one of these four schools.

If the 6-foot-1 Woods decided to go to Georgetown, he would be the best thing to hit their campus at the point guard spot since Allen Iverson. He would be like “The Answer 2.0”.

  • Staying at home at South Carolina would be a big boost for the Gamecocks who actually scored a top notch point guard recruit in P.J. Dozier for their 2015 class.

Going to Florida would be solid because Woods would be the first big name recruit to choose playing under the tutelage of new Gators head coach Mike White.

North Carolina on the other hand would be a coin flip, especially with the possible NCAA sanctions that could hit the program in 2016.

If Seventh Woods did decide to go to North Carolina, that would mean that the sanctions on UNC are not going to be as severe as everyone is imagining.

You really have a hard time envisioning Woods going to a school that may not be eligible to play in the NCAA Tournament though. That is the whole point of wanting to play college basketball, you want to be that player that helps your team advance through the brackets in March.

This is something that everyone is going to be paying close attention to and one of these schools is about to have an exciting player on their campus.
