College Basketball: Two More Games Added to ESPN Tip-Off Marathon Schedule

The ESPN Tip-Off Marathon already had a nice menu of games as it was, but there are going to be two more games added to the slate of games that are scheduled for TV November 16th and 17th.

On November 16th when the Tennessee Volunteers play at the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, it will be televised on ESPNU at 7PM ET.

Rick Barnes will be in his first season as Tennessee’s head coach when he brings his Vols’ into Atlanta to a building Jackets’ team led by embattled coach Brian Gregory.

The other game that was added is a game pitting the Penn State Nittany Lions out of the Big Ten up against the DePaul Blue Demons on Monday November 17th at 5PM ET on ESPNU.

  • Penn State is coached by Pat Chambers who is in his fifth season coaching the Nittany Lions and has a record of 56-75 going up against a DePaul team that will be led by new head coach Dave Leitao who signed a five-year deal with the school after last coaching the Blue Demons in the 2004-05 season.

    This brings the total amount of games that will be part of the ESPN Tip-Off Marathon to 18 games headlined by two Champions Classic matchups that will pit the No.3 Kentucky Wildcats against the No.6 Duke Blue Devils and the No.5 Kansas Jayhawks against the No. 19 Michigan State Spartans.

    Both of those games can be seen on ESPN.
