Coveted grad transfer Randy Onwuasor will visit the Gonzaga Bulldogs, South Carolina Gamecocks, and LSU Tigers.

Once a Texas Tech Red Raider, Randy Onwuasor would transfer to the Southern Utah Thunderbirds to find playing time. Once there, he would play over 35 minutes a game with averages of 6.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.5 steals, and 23.6 points.

Now, as a grad transfer, Onwuasor will visit three schools: LSU, South Carolina, and Gonzaga.

LSU could surprise a few people next season in the hunt for a trip to the 2018 NCAA Tournament. Will Wade has an extremely talented recruiting class on the way, and he has proven himself as a great coach already in his career.

South Carolina, on the other hand, is in the midst of transition. The loss of Sindarius Thornwell was expected, but the loss of P.J. Dozier means that they are going to take a pretty big step backward next season. Onwuasor could find playing time here, but he could find wins hard to come by.

I know this is getting repetitive as I suggest all grad transfers who look at Gonzaga should go there, but Gonzaga is a haven for transfers and grad transfers alike. Mark Few is an expert when it comes to incorporating them into his program and his team, and I think Onwuasor would have a chance to find some legitimate playing time with the Bulldogs.

Plus, Onwuasor is from Inglewood, California, meaning that Gonzaga is far closer to home than either LSU or South Carolina. Expect him to head on over to Spokane to play his last season with Few and the Bulldogs.
