2019 4-star prospect Malik Hall recently trimmed his college list to five schools. Three of the schools are located in the Midwest including two from the Big Ten Conference.

Malik Hall, a consensus top-100  recruit from Aurora (Ill), recently trimmed his college choices down to Michigan State, Purdue, Oklahoma, Texas and Oregon.

Hall is more of a project than a finished product. The 6-foot-7 agile combo forward’s best attribute is currently rebounding. He is also a very good help-defender according to Futures 150. However, he has a ton of areas of improvement to work on.

Specifically, Hall needs to work on his 3-point shooting. He also needs to improve his ball-handling, passing as well as finishing through contract. In addition, he could become better at scoring with both hands.

Hall’s 2017-18 stats for Sunrise Christian (Wichita, KS) were incomplete. But according to Prep Circuit, Hall averaged 13.6 points a game to go along with 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 50% from the field through 10 games.

Purdue is the favorite to land Hall per 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions. While Michigan State and Oregon are each given a 25% of landing the Chicagoland native. In total, he holds 28 scholarship offers.

The Kansas City Star reports that Hall plans on visiting all five schools before making a decision.
