The Bracketology bubble is starting to tighten with fewer games left to solidify the resumes. Which teams are in danger of getting too far behind?

We’re around one month away from Selection Sunday and Bracketology is as wild as ever. Most power conference teams over .500 on the season still seems to have a pulse, while several mid-majors have taken advantage of the weak bubble and put themselves in a good position for a possible at-large bid.

There were a lot of opportunities for NCAA Basketball teams to enhance their respective resumes. St. John’s comes to mind immediately, getting a crucial win over Big East leaders Villanova on Sunday. That gave the Red Storm three wins over the top teams in the league and now gives them some cushion. Other teams who had happy results include Gonzaga, Iowa, Oklahoma and Wofford of the SoCon.

But some teams could’ve done better this past week. Louisville was up by 23 with less than 10 minutes to go at home against Duke but choked away both the lead and a potential signature win in the loss. The Cardinals didn’t compound the defeat later in the week, beating Clemson is a close battle.

Time is starting to run out for a few of these upcoming Bracketology Losers, including a repeat offender who has fallen nearly off the bubble. Still, with a couple of weeks to go in the regular season, these teams can possibly get back on track and make the NCAA Tournament. But they can’t afford a repeat of this past week.
