The Iowa State Cyclones are a very talented basketball team that is capable of a deep NCAA Tournament run. If they don’t lock in and take care of business, though, they won’t even win a game. That is true for every team, but for this Iowa State team that has been very inconsistent it really is that simple for them at times. Their opponent, the Ohio State Buckeyes, are no slouch either. They really struggled to end the season, especially when playing quality opponents. They picked up a big win over Cincinnati on the road in early November but that is the best win on their resume.

They do have some very good players who Iowa State will need to match up with. Kaleb Wesson and C.J. Jackson are the two go-to guys for this team but it is more of a full team effort for Ohio State. Iowa State needs to play well to win this game. They have shown throughout the season that they’re the better team in this matchup but they have been inconsistent just like the Buckeyes have.
