South Dakota State transfer David Jenkins is reportedly down to three NCAA Basketball schools: Oregon, Gonzaga, and UNLV. Here are some pros and cons of each of Jenkins’ three options.

One of NCAA Basketball’s top sit-one play two transfers is reportedly close to making a decision. David Jenkins, formerly of the South Dakota State Jackrabbits, has reportedly narrowed his list down to three schools: Oregon, Gonzaga, and UNLV.

We’ll dive into each of Jenkins’ three options in a bit, but with the addition of Jenkins, any of the three schools will be adding a major piece for the 2020-21 season.

Jenkins averaged nearly 20 points per game as a sophomore for South Dakota State last season and decided to transfer following the Jackrabbits’ stunning conference tournament lost which kept them out of the NCAA Tournament in Mike Daum’s final season.

Jenkins’ decision to transfer is certainly the right decision, as Jenkins will have the opportunity to compete for a national championship in the final two seasons of his college career, whereas that opportunity is not nearly as present at South Dakota State.

Jenkins will likely close in on his decision soon, but in the meantime, let’s take a look at each of the final three schools that he is considering.

Although it might be hard to predict exactly where things will stand by the 2020-21 season, each team has its obvious pros and cons, even though we are a full season removed from Jenkins seeing the court again.

Without further delay, let’s discuss each of the three suitors for South Dakota State transfer David Jenkins.
