Sometimes an NCAA Basketball recruiting class can catapult a program to successes they haven’t had in a long time. These three schools are hoping that’s the case in 2019.

During this time of instant gratification, especially in the what have you done for me lately world of sports, one way to jump into national relevance in the college ranks is to have an NCAA Basketball recruiting class that finds itself near the top of the recruiting rankings and having them perform on the floor in the fall and winter.

Some schools we know will always be at the top of those rankings, whether it be 247 Sports, Rivals or ESPN. We can always expect the likes of Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, Arizona among others to have top recruiting classes, that is in part why they are considered Blue Bloods in the sport. It is when a team that jumps into those rankings that not only open people’s eyes, it can lead to a season that can catapult a team into a big season, like Oregon and LSU last season or even a foundation of longer success like Notre Dame who had a consensus top-20 class in 2018.

But even teams like Notre Dame has had some recent success on the floor, but this summer there are some teams that are hoping that their 2019 recruiting class and additions will at the very least give them a season of success like that of Oregon and LSU.

Three of these teams find themselves with the highly ranked classes that they hope can be the first steps to winning on the court at a level they haven’t had in a long time.
