With their roster set after a slew of transfers, departures, and the NBA Draft withdrawal deadline, TCU Basketball will be taking on a new look for the upcoming season.

From this point last year to where we stand this year, TCU Basketball looks a whole lot different.

Five players from last year’s roster have transferred, and one other player has left two years of eligibility on the table in order to play professionally overseas.

While this certainly is not a good look for the Horned Frogs’ program, TCU should be just fine for next year. Sure, the Frogs look a lot different, but after missing the NCAA Tournament last season, maybe a different look will be a good thing for Jamie Dixon’s squad.

Before we go into what TCU will be putting on the floor next season, let’s recap who they lost.

Angus McWilliams, Jaylen Fisher, Kaden Archie, and Yuat Alok all transferred during last season. TCU has been able to prepare accordingly for their absences, given that these all materialized months ago.

More surprisingly, rising sophomore point guard Kendric Davis announced that he will transfer. Davis played a fairly big role off the bench last season and could have potentially stepped into a starting role for TCU this season.

Even bigger was the decision of Kouat Noi to leave TCU after just two seasons in order to play overseas. Noi was arguably TCU’s most consistent scorer last season and will leave a gaping hole in the Frogs’ offensive attack.

Other than those two and the graduations of J.D. Miller and Alex Robinson, TCU retains much of their final roster from last season. The Frogs bring in a good recruiting class and have added a couple of transfers to finish off their active roster.

Let’s dive into who we can expect to see Jamie Dixon roll out on the floor for TCU next season.
