MarJon Beauchamp is one of the best NCAA Basketball class of 2020 prospects out west. Which team is best suited to land his signature?

It’s been a recent rough patch for Pac-12 teams out on the west coast and it could have a real impact on recruiting. Some NCAA Basketball recruiting prospects could make the decision to leave the region and hurt the incoming talent pool overall. That’s why it’s so important to keep the top prospects from leaving the west, including upcoming class of 2020 players such as MarJon Beauchamp.

Rated as a consensus five-star recruit, the 6’6 small forward is from Seattle Washington and plays for the prestigious Garfield High School (will be playing in the state of Arizona his senior season). He’s a great two-way athlete with a large wingspan among other positive measurables. He can drive to the basket with ease and is a solid passer to boot. With an improved jumpshot, Beauchamp can become a quality wing option with an eye on the NBA.

Speaking of the Pac-12, Beauchamp is almost guaranteed to play in that conference for the 2020-21 season. Of his reported seven finalists, six of them reside in the power conference out west. Regardless of who he picks, it’s important for the Pac-12 to have him around and become a possible national star for exposure purposes. He has the raw talent to get to that level.

So which team is most likely to land him? And among the options, where is the best fit for Beauchamp? Here’s an expanded look at each potential situation for the five-star wing prospect.
