With the College Basketball season growing closer as the summer ages on, it’s time to rank TCU Basketball’s 2019-20 non-conference games.

With July coming to a close, TCU Basketball announced their 2019-20 non-conference schedule this past week, solidifying their full schedule for the upcoming season.

Last season, the Horned Frogs entered the season ranked in the Top-25, only to see themselves fall short of the NCAA Tournament. While injuries and transfers certainly played a big role in this, the Horned Frogs also lacked a solid non-conference schedule to put them into the tournament.

Even though TCU looks a bit weaker on paper heading into this season, they are in better shape in terms of their non-conference schedule, as the Horned Frogs have a number of opponents scheduled that should make, or at least contend, for the NCAA Tournament.

We’ll get into their better games in a bit, but one thing is for certain–the Horned Frogs knew that their non-conference schedule last season didn’t help their NCAA Tournament case, therefore they have loaded this year’s schedule up with some better opponents.

Whether or not this will actually help the Horned Frogs is yet to be seen, as they have a couple of big question marks on the roster that will need to be answered before we know what this season’s TCU squad will actually look like.

However, there might be no better way to do this than for the Horned Frogs to take on opponents of a higher level, introducing their newer players to legitimate competition leading into the Big 12 conference play schedule, which should also help the Horned Frogs have a smoother transition from non-conference to conference play.

Without further delay, here are all 13 of TCU’s non-conference opponents ranked.
