There are several highly-touted freshmen joining ACC basketball this season. How does each 2019 recruiting class in the conference stack up?

ACC basketball is consistently one of the best conferences in the entire nation. With the likes of Duke, Virginia, North Carolina, and Louisville headlining the league, there are seemingly always plenty of national title contenders competing against one another. The conference is full of highly-regarded head coaches that constantly add some of the best players in the entire country. In order to remain competitive in the ACC, each program needs to achieve tremendous recruiting wins.

Incoming freshmen are some of the most exciting players in the entire nation every single year and the ACC has some top-tier commits joining this season. Duke can always be counted on to land an elite recruiting class but some of the others in the conference were also very successful over the past few months. Recruiting is the most important part of developing a potential national title contender and the ACC has several of those taking the court this year.

Duke, North Carolina, and Louisville are all regarded as preseason top-10 teams for this coming season and freshmen will play a major role in making that happen. It is important to mention, though, that many highly-regarded recruits are also arriving on the other campuses in the conference. Now, with the 2019-20 college basketball season approaching, it is time to take a deeper look into the incoming recruiting classes.

This article will take a look at each recruiting class joining the ACC this season. Let’s dive in. (Note: Notre Dame did not secure a commitment from the 2019 recruiting class and is therefore not included.)
