This past week was a hectic one in NCAA basketball. The most notable riser was Seton Hall after two road wins while Auburn struggled tremendously.

Another week of NCAA basketball is complete and let’s just say it was a crazy one. Ranked teams dropped like flies throughout this week and that included three Top 10 teams each dropping two games. It was simply mayhem once again as this season is yet to disappoint. Every week has featured some incredible upsets to the point where nobody really knows what to expect on any given night.

My power rankings for this week once again reflect that chaos as several teams moved up and down based on their respective results. Auburn, Duke, and Butler were the teams that dropped the most from last week to this one as highly-regarded teams that lost both of their games. Two of these squads, though, still managed to remain in my Top 10. One was not so lucky.

While most of the top teams in the country struggled, though, this opened the door for a few teams to soar up the rankings. Most notably, Seton Hall and Louisville climbed into my Top 10 after their respective big wins of the week. Florida State also continued its quiet but steady rise as a team that nobody is paying enough attention to.

Additionally, Baylor and Gonzaga continue to grapple over the No. 1 spot in the rankings. Both are very deserving of the top slot and it is nearly impossible to separate the two. They are clearly the two teams most deserving of praise at the moment while the likes of Kansas and San Diego State sit just below them in the national hierarchy.

Now, without any further ado, let’s dive into this week’s edition of my National Top 25 Power Rankings.
