JT Thor is one of the most highly-touted uncommitted prospects in the 2020 NCAA basketball recruiting class. He is now down to three schools.

Now that the 2019-20 NCAA basketball has come to a close (albeit earlier than we were expecting), the recruiting trail can take center stage over the next several months. While many of the top prospects from the 2020 class have already committed to their respective schools, there are some that still remain available. JT Thor is among the top uncommitted prospects at the moment as he sits at No. 51 in the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Thor is an athletic 6-foot-8 power forward with a versatile game that fits the modern era. Thanks to strong ball-handling skills and solid shooting form, he can be a matchup nightmare on the perimeter with the ability to dominate the glass as well. He also utilizes his length and athleticism to defend multiple positions on the other end of the floor. Thor looks the part of a big-time difference-maker at the collegiate level and should be a plug-and-play immediate contributor.

Considering his playing style, though, Thor will be at his best when playing alongside an elite-level playmaker. That is something that the star forward agrees with as well as his final three schools in consideration all feature five-star playmakers from the 2020 class: Cade Cunningham at Oklahoma State, Sharife Cooper at Auburn, and Daishen Nix at UCLA.

Thor’s recruitment is definitely one to monitor over the coming few weeks and each of these three schools would be lucky to land his commitment. So, now that he has cut his list, let’s analyze where these programs appear to stand at this moment and what could potentially offer to the star forward.
