Which NCAA Basketball teams are already being undervalued in many Way-Too-Early polls? Here are five that are currently being overlooked.

As the 2019-20 NCAA Basketball season unfortunately ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 crisis, we have gotten an expected head start on previewing the 2020-21 season.

That means the release of “Way-Too-Early” top 25 polls by virtually every publication, projecting rosters for next season based on players projected to return and who is currently included in various recruiting classes.

Normally, we see a lot of turnover with underclassmen entering the NBA Draft and this year is no different. But, due to the unorthodox pre-draft process caused by COVID-19, many of those declaring is believed to simply be getting feedback from the NBA rather than seriously considering leading. In fact, a good portion of the fringe prospects – including fringe first-rounders – have yet to declare or will be coming back to college due to the fact there will be no combine and they will be unable to work out for teams in person.

That should make college basketball stronger as a whole in 2020-21, especially when added to what is thought to be a pretty strong incoming freshmen class.

That said, a lot of the uncertainty of right now has led to some teams being overvalued and several more being undervalued at the start of the offseason. Which programs aren’t being talked about as much as they should be right now? Here are the five most undervalued teams in these Way-Too-Early polls.
