Nathan Bittle, a five-star center out of Oregon, has narrowed his NCAA Basketball decision to four schools. Here is how he would fit at each of them.

The word ‘unicorn’ is often used to describe seven-footers who can handle the ball and shoot three-pointers, because of how rare players like that are. Nathan Bittle, a five-star NCAA Basketball center prospect out of Crater High School in Oregon, definitely fits that bill, joining Chet Holmgren (Minn.) as centers in the class of 2021 with the ‘unicorn’ title.

Bittle, who comes in at No. 9 in the class of 2021, according to 247Sports, has announced his final four schools – and as predicted he is hoping to stay close to home.

Bittle will be deciding between the University of Oregon, the University of Arizona, UCLA, and Gonzaga as he looks forward to the next step toward an NBA future.

While he was recruited all across the country, including a late push from Michigan, most felt Bittle would stay close to home. Even now the odds-on favorite remains Oregon, located in Eugene just over 150 miles away from his hometown.

There’s little doubt Bittle will have a massive impact wherever he goes, and each of his four potential destinations has a history of developing NBA big men – so he can’t really go wrong.

Here’s a look at each of the four schools Bittle in considering, including a look at their present and future roster construction and how Bittle will fit in if he chooses to go there.

We will start with the industry favorite:
