Sydney became the editor of Garnet and Cocky after a year and a half stint at FanSided's Charlotte 49ers blog, Pick Axe Digest, which he founded. His work has been featured at CollegeHoops.net, Hockey's Future, and Bleacher Report, and he also has substantial print journalism experience, having covered Division I sports for four years at a college newspaper.
