2014 NBA Mock Draft: An in-depth look at both rounds

Jerami Grant has a four’s game in a three’s body, but his athleticism and length make up for anything he lacks in size. And while there’s still plenty of room for him to develop his skills, Grant’s ability to impact a game on the offensive end despite not commanding the ball makes him an enticing prospect.
Grant could already be a fantastic pick-and-roll partner for Goran Dragic, as we saw him flourish as the cutter in P-N-R situations for Syracuse last season, and his ability to draw contact at the rim is one of his greatest attributes. He’s his most effective in the transition game, which bodes well for a team that looked its best rolling out two point guard lineups last season, and as one of the most diverse defenders in this draft, Grant would be an ideal candidate for the Suns at the end of the first round. — Jared
