I’d be willing to take DeAndre Kane in the first-round. I think he is ready to play right now, does everything better than average and could be a starting point guard in the NBA the moment he walks through the door. I know that sounds like high-praise for the 56th overall pick, but people are projecting his talents by using his age against him. Who cares if he is a little older? He is ready for the league — now.
Kane is an incredible rebounder for a guard, can play and defend both guard positions, has an extremely high basketball IQ and does a great job of putting his teammates in a position to succeed. Really, what is there not to like?
Listen, I will yell this from the rooftops until someone tells me different: DeAndre Kane is going to be a really good NBA player. — Joe
