The best the SEC has to offer (also, normally the only thing) comes with this rivalry. Like most other rivalries listed, this one took it up multiple notches with the hire of John Calipari to Kentucky. Since then, these battles have been memorable and with big title ramifications.
Since Coach Cal has joined the Wildcats, the record in this rivalry is 8-5 in favor of Big Blue, but the Gators have won four of the last five meetings. With the two sides always near the top of recruit team rankings list, fresh, talented faces are often coming in and adding their piece to the rivalries history.
This season will be especially tough, with the two sides likely being top five ranked teams for most of the season. Without a doubt, this rivalry is only gaining steam.
