2015 NBA Draft: Top 13 Champions Classic Prospects

13. Alex Poythress, Forward (Jr.) – Kentucky
Like Cauley-Stein, Alex Poythress is a rare straggler who is taking forever to get to the NBA by the usual standards of the Big Blue Nation.
Poythress is what he is — a solid role player in college that will be a solid role player in the NBA. With so much talent concentrated on one roster, Poythress has accepted his role as the glue that holds together teams of superstars. His length and athleticism make him a prototype athletic defender that can steal minutes from starters at the next level with offensive productivity and defensive activity.
Poythress lacks star potential, but he does already look to have an established niche at the next level.
