Wichita State +2500/250-1 – Gregg Marshall stayed loyal to Wichita State and signed a seven-year deal paying him $3.3 million per year back in April when the coaching carousel was just beginning to whirl.

This means that the Shockers can focus on trying to make one last run with their senior backcourt of Ron Baker and Fred Van Vleet.

More from Arizona Wildcats

After years of saying that the Kansas Jayhawks were ducking the Shockers like Floyd Mayweather supposedly was doing with Manny Pacquiao, Wichita State finally got their shot at playing KU in the NCAA Tournament.

Wichita State handled their business against the Jayhawks in the Round of 32 to advance to the Sweet Sixteen where they lost to a very tough Notre Dame team.

This team is going to be highly motivated to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament and will have enough talent returning to make a strong attempt at the crown, though they are going to be without forward Darius Carter and guard Tekele Cotton.

Connor Frankamp, who transferred from Kansas University to play in his home town of Wichita, is going to be an important player for Wichita State when he is able to take the floor for the Shockers in December.

He has the ability to space the floor with his marksmanship which is going to make the Shockers dangerous.

In the end, if you are going to drop money on Wichita this go around, you are betting on this team finally completing the fairytale that has been in progress for the past few seasons.

This fairytale always seems to strike 12 in the end though, so I would keep my cash in my wallet when it comes to the Shockers.
