11. Kevin Stallings (Pittsburgh)

Career record: 455-284 (61.6%)
Record at Pittsburgh: N/A
NCAA Tournament appearances: 9
Final Fours: 0
National Championships: 0

Kevin Stallings had intermittent success at Vanderbilt, where he’s spent the majority of his coaching career to this point. He left the school as their all-time winningest coach, compiling 332 victories in his 17 years there.

His time at Vandy was mired by his lack of success both in the SEC and in the NCAA Tournament. During his time with the Commodores, his team never finished better than second in the conference and only advanced to the Sweet 16 once.

Stallings, who had once gotten to five NCAA Tournaments in a six-year time span, mutually parted ways with Vanderbilt after a disappointing 19-14 season.

After the surprising departure of long-time Pittsburgh head coach Jamie Dixon, Stallings took the vacant position and now prepares for his first season in the ACC.

For a coach who struggled to finish in the top-five of the SEC standings, one has to wonder how well Stallings will do in a conference that advanced four of its teams to last year’s Elite Eight.
