Atlantic 10

Lead-Pipe Lock: None.

Some Perspiration: Dayton, VCU

Better Double-Up on the Deodorant: Rhode Island

Dayton Flyers, 20-5 (11-2): An eight seed in my most recent bracket, Dayton is in very solid position for the tournament. Three of their losses have come against single-digit seeds, and they VCU at home down the stretch of the regular season, which could give them another major win for their resume. The leaders in the A-10 just keep winning games, and that is separating them from the rest of the bubble.

Quality wins: vs. Rhode Island, @ Rhode Island

Bad losses: vs. Nebraska, @ Massachusetts

Missed opportunities: vs. Saint Mary’s, vs. Northwestern, @ VCU

Up next: St. Bonaventure (2/18), vs. George Mason (2/21)

VCU Rams, 21-5 (11-2): Now on a seven-game winning streak, VCU is on the rise up brackets and is getting very close to a lock zone. With how poor the rest of the bubble has been recently, the gap between VCU and the cutline is getting larger and larger every day. The Rams do have to finish with both Rhode Island and Dayton on the road, but they are in great shape, especially if they split or sweep those two games.

Quality wins: vs. Middle Tennessee, vs. Dayton

Bad losses: @ Davidson, @ Fordham, vs. Illinois

Missed opportunities: vs. Baylor, vs. Georgia Tech

Up next: @ Richmond (2/17), vs. Saint Louis (2/22)

Rhode Island Rams, 16-8 (8-4): Rhody really only has one really good win, which came against Cincinnati, but with how weak the bubble is this year, the team is right on the cutline. Although it does not take into account an entire resume or the eye test, Team A Rhode Island did just fine in my #BlindResume of the day from Tuesday, where they won the poll against Miami, who was Team B.

Quality wins: vs. Cincinnati

Bad losses: @ Richmond, vs. La Salle, @ Houston

Missed opportunities: vs. Duke, @ Valparaiso, @ Dayton, vs. Dayton, @ Providence

Up next: vs. Fordham (2/15), @ George Mason (2/18)
