Nia Coffey, Northwestern

Nia Coffey is perhaps the greatest women’s basketball player in Northwestern’s history. The 6’1 forward is a terrific versatile athlete who can defend multiple positions. She can score in the post, slash to the basket, as well as from the perimeter. Additionally, she is a fantastic rebounder and rim protector.

Coffey finished her career with 2,000 points along with 1,000 rebounds, becoming the fifth player in Big Ten history to post such numbers and the first Northwestern player to collect 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. She averaged 20.4 points along and 10.4 rebounds this past season.
