1. Mike Dunleavy Sr., Tulane Green Wave

Mike Dunleavy Sr. was a sixth round selection of the Philadelphia 76ers in 1976. Dunleavy compiled 3,496 points, along with 1,723 assists and 689 rebounds in 11 NBA seasons. He spent one season with the Sixers before moving on to Houston, San Antonio, and Milwaukee.

Dunleavy also coached in the NBA for 17 seasons. The 1999 NBA COY registered a 613-716 coaching record during his time in the Association. He made the 1999 NBA Finals with the Los Angeles Lakers and reached the Western Conference Finals on two other occasions.

The 63-year-old took over a tough job with Tulane in 2016. The Green Wave went 6-25 this past season. Tulane has made three NCAA Tournament appearances with the last occurring in 1995.
