4. Ivan Rabb – Cal

Stats: 14.0 PPG, 10.5 RPG, 1.5 APG
Draft Express Rank: No. 20 (Portland Trail Blazers)

A possible first-round selection in last year’s draft, Rabb made an extremely wise decision to return to school. Freshmen bigs, namely Skal Labissiere and Deyonta Davis, both fell much lower than many expected. Rabb would’ve been in the same boat as that duo had he not elected to play another year under Cuonzo Martin.

Rabb saw an increase in numerous numbers this season. While averaging a double-double during his sophomore campaign, the 6’11” forward increased his scoring, rebounding, assist, and steal statistics.

Currently projected as the No. 20 pick, Rabb is superficially a first-round lock. His ceiling is the high-teens; landing in the lottery being a stretch.

Though the Golden Bears missed out on the NCAA Tournament, Rabb’s decision to return for his sophomore year was indisputably the right decision, considering corresponding players dropped significantly in last year’s draft. Having signed with an agent on March 22, Rabb is officially forgoing his final two years of collegiate eligibility.
