Kameron Rooks chooses San Diego State

Former Cal Golden Bear Kameron Rooks is the first recruit to commit to San Diego State since new coach Brian Dutcher replaced Steve Fisher, the Aztecs’s longtime coach.

Rooks is immediately eligible as he is a graduate transfer. The 7’1 center has battled injuries throughout his career at Cal. He produced 4.9 points along with 4.5 boards in 24 contests last season. He is the son of Sean Rooks, who starred at Arizona and played 12 years in the NBA.
