Marques Bolden, Duke

Marques Bolden was a consensus five-star recruit coming out of high school. He was also seen as the No. 1 or No. 2 center in the class of 2016 by the scouting services.

Bolden, however, didn’t live up to the hype in his first year at Duke. The 6’11” Bolden struggled to get on the floor this past season as he only averaged 1.5 points and 1.1 rebounds in 6.5 minutes of action. A leg injury did cost him some time as he appeared in only 24 games.

Despite a disappointing 2016-17 campaign, coach Mike Krzyzewski expects Bolden to have a big year in 2017-18.
