North Carolina Basketball: Breaking down the non-conference schedule
PK80 Tournament (Played in Portland, Oregon)
Portland vs. North Carolina, November 23rd
After a poor season a year ago, the Portland Pilots will look get a marquee win against North Carolina in Portland. The Pilots went 11-22 last season to tie for last place in the WCC. It seems unlikely that North Carolina will lose this game, and they will be able to use it as a last tune-up before reaching major conference opponents in this tournament. The PK80 will be a very fun tournament to watch and North Carolina will be one of the favorites to win the whole thing.

Following the departure of Buddy Hield, the Sooners really struggled in the Big 12 last season, going 5-13 in the conference and 11-20 overall. For Arkansas, they made the NCAA Tournament last season before losing to North Carolina in the second round. They went 12-6 in the SEC and 26-10 overall, a very solid season. A rematch between UNC and Arkansas could make for a very fun game considering how their last battle ended in March.
