Starting Lineup

C.J. Jackson

Jackson will be getting more playing time at the point with Lyle not handling the ball anymore. More of a traditional point guard, he was second on the team in assists last season.

Kam Williams

The 6’2″ combo guard will look to move into double figures in scoring. As a senior, his playmaking skills must improve for the Buckeyes to have a chance this year. Last season, Williams had more turnovers than assists, a big problem for a guard.

Jae’Sean Tate

The best player on the team, Tate averaged 14.3 ppg and 6.4 rpg last year. This year, all of the focus and game plans will focus on him. We’ll see how he handles the extra attention.

Keita Bates-Diop

The 6’7″ forward scored almost ten points a game before going down for the year after just nine games. An athletic player in his own right, he’ll have plenty of opportunities this year to break out.

Micah Potter

A former top-100 recruit, Potter had moments in his freshman year but was plagued by inconsistencies in his play. He’ll need to shore those problems up as he is one of the only bigs on the roster this season.
