Key reserves

Andrew Dakich

A former walk-on at rival Michigan, Dakich became a grad transfer in hopes of playing time and chose one of the worst rosters in the power conferences to do so. The son of ESPN analyst and broadcaster Dan Dakich, the younger son should see time on the court.

Joey Lane

Due to the lack of depth, Lane should get some time off the bench. The 6’1″ guard averaged a few minutes and a couple of points last season and should get some shots up this year as well.

Andre Wesson

The 6’6″ forward has good size at 220 pounds and put up a few points of his own off the bench last year. With a more expanded role, Wesson could be one of the better players on the entire roster.

Kyle Young

A former Butler commit, Young switched to follow Holtmann over to Ohio State. The relationship must be strong, because Young went from a winning program in Butler to the start of a rebuild.
While he should play as a sixth man, don’t be surprised to see Young accumulate starts towards the end of the season when the team begins to look at next year.
