Duke is a class above all others in college basketball

What can you say about Duke Blue Devils besides “wow?”

The Blue Devils have dominated to begin the season and have wins against two of the best teams in the country in the Michigan State Spartans and Florida Gators.

Even more impressive, they beat Michigan State without Marvin Bagley for most of the game and came back against Florida — twice.

This team boasts the best player in college basketball (Bagley), a guy who can drop 30 on any given night (Allen), and a few players who finally look to be coming into their own. Throw in Marques Bolden and how he played off the bench against the Gators, and this team looks unbeatable.

Honestly, what team on their schedule can beat Duke the way they are playing right now? North Carolina was absolutely destroyed by Michigan State, and, unless they improve greatly, they aren’t beating this Blue Devils’ squad.

In fact, I do not think it is a bold claim to say that this team is a lock for a No. 1 seed in the 2018 NCAA Tournament.

Expect this team to keep winning and for them to stay undefeated until at least Feb. 8 on the road against UNC, and I’m not sure they will lose even then.
