Underdog to watch: Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns

Another team that has suffered just one loss in conference play so far, Louisiana is 15-1 in the Sun Belt. They have dominated the competition all year long and the Ragin’ Cajuns look to reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2013-14. In addition, the team is one win away from setting a program record for victories in a season.

Similar to Vermont, Louisiana ranks extremely well within their conference. They are tops in the league in points per game and are second in points allowed. The Ragin’ Cajuns have an elite offense that can run up the score of any game. Should they make the field, Louisiana has the ability to put up points on defensive-oriented teams or outscore those that put the ball in the basket just as much as they do.
