2. Nevada Wolf Pack (7 seed)

Strength: Instant offense

Villanova may have the highest scoring offense in the country, but my money on the team who can score the most in a five-minute span would be Nevada. On the Round of 32, this team completed the second biggest comeback in NCAA Tournament historic, down by as much as 22 in the second half against Cincinnati, a top-five defensive unit.

Of course, Jordan Caroline, the team’s second-leading scorer is all too familiar, down by even more in the come from behind win over New Mexico last season. Led by the Martin twins, this is a top-20 scoring offense who can win this regional battle.

Weakness: Depth and size

Most teams play with seven or eight guys, but Nevada has only six guys available to play. Any kind of foul trouble and another injury would be just devastating to this team.

The makeup of the Wolf Pack is also something to think about. All season, they’ve played positionless offense, which means that they just use the best five players. It’s also because there’s no one on the roster listed above 6’7. It hasn’t been a glaring weakness for them all season, but against a team like Kentucky, it could easily come into play on the boards.
