6. Chicago: Trae Young, PG

The freshman Sooner sensation is ready for the NBA without a doubt. But while he may have the talent to be a top three pick, Young will drop a little bit simply due to a lack of need for a guard of his style at the top.

To the Bulls, Young could bring a much-needed scoring threat from anywhere on the floor, as well as instant chemistry which will make the rest of this Chicago team better. Young is a scoring and assist machine who will adjust well to an increasingly scoring driven league.

5. Orlando: Jaren Jackson Jr., C

The Magic need a lot of help, and a good way to start getting themselves that help is by drafting Jackson. The freshman was an all around productive player at Michigan State, with ability on both ends of the floor. He shot almost 40% from behind the arc and averaged 5.5 blocks a game.

The Magic will need to wait for the 18-year-old to mature into a consistent force for their struggling organization, but Jackson’s potential is almost unlimited. If he pans out, Orlando may just look back at the 2018 first round as when their full rebuild truly got going.
