The Holier Than Thou

Notable Fans: Notre Dame, BYU

There are some fans in the country that hold such a high view of themselves that it seems no situation is good enough for their team. Even if their team isn’t winning their conference, the fans still believe they can do better.

BYU may be the biggest culprit as they have essentially ruined relationships with two pretty decent conferences and still believe they can do better. Notre Dame fans, on the other hand, aimed to convince people that half the season should be discounted due to a major injury, without giving that same benefit to any other school.

These fans have the same view of both their basketball and football teams, and often don’t realize that maybe they just aren’t that good. There is no doubt that these two schools have strong alumni bases that with support their team to the death; however, to everyone else they can appear to have a superiority complex.
