15. Dajuan Wagner – Memphis Tigers (2002)

Career stats: 21.2 ppg 2.5 rpg 3.6 apg

One of the best individual seasons came from Wagner, who dropped 20 points on most nights. Unfortunately, that team failed to make the Big Dance (which hurts him on this list), but he did have a big NIT campaign which sent him off to the pros.

14. Lou Rowe – Massachusetts Minutemen (1992-1995)

Career stats: 14.2 ppg 8.0 rpg 1.4 apg

A big part of the golden years for UMass Basketball, the 6’7 forward was arguably the best big man in the Atlantic Ten for a while. After scoring over 18 ppg his junior season, Rowe won A-10 Player of the Year his senior season, carrying the Minutemen to the Elite Eight.

13. Jamal Murray – Kentucky Wildcats (2016)

Career stats: 20.0 ppg 5.2 rpg 2.2 apg

Unlike most seasons, the 2016 Kentucky Basketball team wasn’t filled with too many offensive threats, leaving the freshman Murray to do the bulk of the scoring work. He was up to the task, scoring 20 a night and being one of the best three-point shooters in the country. He would’ve won SEC Player of the Year Award if it wasn’t for the next player on the list.

12. Tylis Ulis – Kentucky Wildcats (2015-2016)

Career stats: 11.3 ppg 2.4 rpg 5.3 apg

After playing little his freshman season, Ulis broke out the following year, averaging 17.3 ppg and 7.0 apg, good for top five in the country. He won SEC Player of the Year, as well as the Bob Cousy Award for the top point guard in the country.

11. Brandon Knight – Kentucky Wildcats (2011)

Career stats: 17.3 ppg 4.0 rpg 4.2 apg

The leading scorer and passer on the 2011 Final Four team, Knight had an awesome 30 points to beat West Virginia in the round of 32. But it was his consistency throughout that year that allowed the Wildcats to even be in position for a deep run that year.
