CG Jalen Lecque, Christ School

Widely regarded as one of the best guards in the 2019 recruiting class, Jalen Lecque is another player that Duke is interested in. Although a bit of a tweener guard, Lecque came in at No. 12 in the most recent update to the 247Sports Composite rankings (June 6). He is a high-quality athlete at 6-foot-4 and is capable of being a top-notch perimeter defender.

In addition, Lecque is well-known as a scorer who can put up points in bunches while aggressively attacking the basket. He has an elite first step and can practically get to the hole at will. If he is able to improve his playmaking abilities, then Lecque can be an incredibly dangerous point guard due to his ability to drive the lane.

While there have been a few visits between Duke and Lecque, the program is yet to officially offer a scholarship. In addition, snagging this guard seems like a longshot at this point considering the other programs that are already heavily involved. Of the four crystal ball predictions on 247Sports, two of them are for Kentucky, one for Oregon, and one for North Carolina.

Nate James is the most recent Duke coach to pay Lecque a visit during the offseason.
