George King, Colorado

George King was the final player selected from the Pac-12 Conference out of Colorado. He was taken 58th overall by the Phoenix Suns, in order to shore up their 3-point shooting.

The 6-foot-6 guard showed off the ability to play the guard and forward position in his four seasons with Colorado. King produced 12.9 points and 7.8 rebounds on 39.5 percent from 3-point land as a senior for the Buffaloes in 2017-18.

He’s got athleticism and length on his side, two things that caught the Phoenix Suns eye during the draft process. He has a 6’11.5″ wingspan and 39-inch vertical under his belt, giving him all the tools of a second-round steal.

Next: Which 2018 NBA Draft players will have the best careers?

King’s presence will help take some of the pressure of Deandre Ayton, that’s for sure. He’ll have to show he can fit in with guards Devin Booker and Josh Jackson, if he can defend, he certainly will play a role.
